Last week I had the absolute pleasure of teaming up with Ojai Valley In & Spa to explore their beautiful nestled sort within a coastal valley. If you're looking for a relaxing, romantic weekend getaway - this it IT.
For those that are not familiar with Ojai, it's just a little over an hour drive from Los Angeles! We packed up our bags last minute on Thursday (yes, right before the holidays) to spend a relaxing night in the beautiful Ojai. We're always looking for new places to go to that are driving distance within LA area, Palm Springs has always been our go-to but I am glad we decided to discover new places and explore different side of California! The resort offers a variety of restaurants, multiple pools and activities such as picnic & paddle, golf, art classes and many more fun stuff to do for all. Because we were only there for one night, we ended up checking out the spa and wanted to spend a morning paddling and have a picnic but unfortunately it started raining! But that just gave us another reason to come back, but next time for more than one night.
My favorite part about the resort is that it has many rooms and is spread out through 22 acres, which makes you feel like you're far far away in a different country. Knowing that there is a hidden paradise and a retreat just a little over an hour away is simply amazing.
