Your guide to 24 hour getaway in Santa Barbara.

I've mentioned before how much I love living in Los Angeles as it's close to some of my other all time favorite cities - Santa Barbara being one of them. It's nice to be able to pack an overnight bag, hop in the car and an hour later you're somewhere different and relaxing. Ever since we got back from our long vacay in Europe we felt like we needed a quick local getaway as once we got back we got extremely busy with work and spent no time together. These short giveaways are extremely important and i'd say very much needed for all couples as it gives you more quality time. Thankfully Lulus has just sent me a gigantic package which I was going to bring to New York but unfortunately it didn't make it on time so I was excited to bring all the outfits along to Santa Barbara! 

PACK. Santa Barbara is a pretty low-key town, however the nighttime is pretty active as they have lots of cool bars and restaurants in the main area. I didn't have to pack much as we were only going for 24 hours, I brought along a jumpsuit, skirt, corset top to mix up with shorts and skirts and a dress. Thanks to Lulus for making packing easy! I've also linked all the outfits at the bottom of the post. I do suggest bringing a jacket as evenings and mornings are pretty chilly. 

p.s. ladies, this jumpsuit is A-MAZING, I wore in the morning with sneakers to go get breakfast and later in the evening to get drinks with Adam at a local bar and got lots of compliments on it ;P 

STAY & DO. We stayed in the heart of Downtown area of Santa Barbara at Kimpton Canary hotel which was super convenient as it was surrounded by all the trendy restaurants, bars and shops. They also had a wine event called Sip & Swirl which took place on their rooftop, which by the way is beyond beautiful as you can tell from the pictures! We didn't do much as the hotel had a beautiful rooptop and a bar downstairs. The only places we ended up checking out during our stay were a bar called Milk & Honey and a random spot by the pier for breakfast but every street has super cute spots that are worth exploring and trying! 

Tips: Highly recommend leaving early and getting the most out of your 24 hour getaway. We left LA at 9AM and literally spent 24 hours away and made it there and back with no traffic as we headed back home around 2PM next day!
